Band Members
We were founded in late 2008, and played our first actual gig on December 13.
Now you can learn about each band member.

On harmonica, from Sonoma, Corey Jennings, aka "the Journeyman".  Corey has played on stages both in the States and in England.  He remains on the call list of musicians for John Lee Hooker Jr.
Using an arsenal of about 30 harmonicas, Corey knows just when to play, and when not to play.

Playing guitar and providing vocals is Gary Halter, from El Verano.  He has been playing for many years, and only recently began playing publicly.
Using a finger picking style, Gary sends a soft, lyrical point into the overall mix of The Cork Pullers

On bass, from Napa, California, Mark Stein!  A guitar player originally, Mark has begun playing the bass.  His style and intuition help the bottom end of The Cork Pullers power through faster songs, and provide soft musicality on the slower tunes.
Mark is seen  here wondering why Gary has jammed the microphone into his right eye.
Handling the percussion duties, from Sonoma, Mark Gallagher.  Mark has also played with many groups in the area, and he brings a special quality to The Cork Pullers, helping to drive each song in interesting and delightful directions.

Tim Curley is from El Verano.  Like Gary, Tim began to play many years ago.  He really should be better than he is, oh well.  Tim played rhythm guitar for a couple of years in Rich Little's American Standard band, which played dance and party music here in the Sonoma Valley.  American Standard opened an important show at Sonoma's Arnold Field in 2006, that raised funds for the local schools.
Tim teaches at El Verano School, where he plays to hundreds of kids on a monthly basis.  Some of the songs he has written or performs for school appear in the set list of The Cork Pullers
